  • Reduces the amount of sweat produced in the underarm area
  • Minimally invasive, with no need for surgical incisions or general anesthesia
  • Results last between 6-12 months, depending on the individual.
  • Can improve quality of life by reducing social anxiety.

Botox treatment for underarm excessive sweating, or axillary hyperhidrosis, involves injecting small amounts of botulinum toxin into the affected area. The toxin blocks the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which is responsible for activating the sweat glands. By inhibiting this chemical, Botox can significantly reduce the amount of sweat produced in the underarm area. The procedure is minimally invasive, with injections administered using a fine needle. Results typically last between 6-12 months, after which the treatment can be repeated. Botox for hyperhidrosis is generally safe and well-tolerated, with few side effects reported. However, it's important to consult with a qualified medical professional before undergoing the treatment.
