7 ways to get more energy
Most of us often feel tired during the day. What can we do to recover our energy?
Stay away from unhealthy fats and sugar, and opt for foods with a low glycemic index (e.g. whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, olive oil), as they ensure a variety of nutrients in the body and a steady flow of energy. Also, eat small and frequent meals and snacks to properly distribute the calories – that is, the energy – you get from your diet throughout the day.
As much as you feel like you can't handle exercise when you're tired, remember that regular exercise makes us feel less tired in the long run. Even 30 minutes of walking a day will help you significantly.
Many of us do not get enough quality sleep and as a result we do not have energy during the day. To sleep well:
Retain normal body weight
Excess weight puts a strain on the heart and reduces our energy. Eating healthy is the best way to lose weight. At SYMMETRIA®, our team of experts will help you achieve a healthy body weight, according to your genetic profile and lifestyle, through personalized protocols. Stress also reduces some of our energy levels. A conversation with a loved one, contact with nature, meditation and yoga are some of the methods that help reduce stress.
The power of the sun
Going outside and enjoying 30 minutes of sunlight ideally before 9am (or any time before sunset), activates a neural circuit that controls the hormones cortisol and melatonin. This helps produce enough melatonin for a better night's sleep.
Lack of energy is one of the first symptoms of dehydration. Make sure you provide your body with enough fluids, water, fruits, vegetables and teas.
SYMMETRIA® offers you personalized IV Drip solutions for sleep deprivation, lack of energy, dehydration, weigh loss and detox. These drips are created on site, after examination by our doctor. Learn more here: https://www.symmetria.com/iv-drips/
