Drinking coffee before exercising helps burn fat faster

According to a new study by scientists at the University of Granada (UGR) in Spain, a cup of strong coffee half an hour before exercise significantly increases fat burning, especially in the afternoon hours.

Caffeine is one of the most popular sports supplements that improve performance and is taken by athletes to improve their endurance and physical abilities.

But despite its widespread use, there is little scientific evidence for its oxidizing or fat burning powers.

The findings were published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
