Healthy Hair Don’t Care!

Did you know that the secret weapons to keep hair healthy, rich and glossy could be found in our kitchen?

The inner part of the hair, the follicle, is the key for healthy hair, as that is where the greatest part of their natural moisture is retained. If it loses this ability, then the hair strand gets worn out. The most typical telltale signs of unhealthy hair are: weak/brittle hair strands, split ends, dryness, lack of shine, difficulty in shaping and loss of volume and vitality.

By making use of ingredients found in your kitchen you can make your own hair masks, which will offer hydration, nourishment and shine.

Hydration

We present to you three different masks from natural ingredients so that you pick the one that suits you best.

   1. Mix five tablespoons of olive oil and three tablespoons of honey in a bowl or blender until the mixture becomes even. Apply to wet hair, from the middle to the ends, slightly massaging the product into the strands. Leave on for five to ten minutes then shampoo and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

   2. Place an egg, one cup of whole milk, the juice of a fresh lemon and two tablespoons olive oil in a blender. Beat the ingredients until the mixture evens out. Apply to wet hair, from the roots to the ends, slightly massaging the product and leave on for five to ten minutes. Next, shampoo and rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.

   3. Mix half a cup of full-fat yogurt, a tablespoon of apple vinegar and a tablespoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients in a blender until the mixture becomes even. Apply on wet hair, from the roots to the ends, slightly massaging the product. Leave for five to ten minutes, apply your shampoo and rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
