Profhilo® is an innovative skin treatment that works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skin through the slow release of hyaluronic acid. It is a unique stabilized injectable hyaluronic acid for treating skin laxity in the middle and lower third of the face. The Profhilo® protocol is not restricted to just one place. What Profhilo actually does is plump, refresh and tighten the middle and lower third of the face. 

What makes this treatment unique is that we offer an at-home maintenance and result-boosting protocol to further enhance the exceptional results of this treatment followed by RF (radio frequencies) therapy for additional tightening results.

We recommend the Profhilo® Protocol as part of a 3-part treatment whereby you can conduct the at-home protocol in the month leading up to your next appointment. In a nutshell, this will consists of daily face ampoules to be used 5 days/week for 5 weeks. After your second treatment you can go ahead and book your RF appointment in the month leading up to your third and final appointment.

The Do’s and Don’ts after your face treatment

By taking care of the aftereffects of your face treatment, you are giving it time to adapt to the active ingredients, thereby boosting the effectiveness of the protocol in restoring your skin’s health.

Please follow the following instructions

• Avoid touching the treated area for a few hours following your treatment. After that, the area can be gently washed with soap and water.
• Avoid applying make-up on your skin immediately after the treatment.
• Immediately following your procedure and for 48 hours thereafter, please avoid; heat exposure, tanning beds, face massaging, pressing treated areas and extreme hot or cold temperatures such as steam rooms and saunas.
• Avoid sun exposure and tanning creams after the treatment. Always use SPF 30 or greater on the treated area.
• You are not allowed to use any retinol, at-home peels and skincare containing acids, bleaching creams, abrasive skincare products or exfoliants in the treated area for at least 72 hours.
• Keep your skin moisturized and hydrated. Be sure to drink lots of water.
• Maintain a healthy and balanced diet.
• Use a clean pillowcase and fresh towels.
• If another treatment is considered after your treatment, please inform your healthcare professional. Consider your follow-up treatment at least 1 week after, always following your doctor’s recommendations.
• Follow our staff’s instructions and advice. Please be sure to consult our healthcare professional for any extra recommendations and a follow-up appointment.

+ Avoid

• Bending over or lying down for 4 to 6 hours.
• You must keep your head upright for at least 6 hours after injection.
• Exercise and high-intensity workouts for 48 hours.
• Some medications might increase your risk of bruising. Be sure to ask your doctor when it’s safe to start taking them again.
