SYMMETRIA® Invests in Prevention and Safety Through Certified First Aid Training

At SYMMETRIA®, caring for people is a fundamental value that extends beyond the health and aesthetic services we provide every day.

As part of our commitment to creating an even safer and more responsible environment for everyone, we organised certified First Aid training for our staff and members of the SYMMETRIA® team.

The training was delivered by SaS – All About Safety and Security, a specialised First Aid training provider, through the “Emergency First Aid at Work GR” programme. The programme complies with current Greek legislation and leads to a certification valid for three years.

Throughout the programme, participants received both theoretical and practical training in essential emergency-response skills, including:

• Introduction to First Aid

• First Aid legislation in the workplace

• Basic anatomy and physiology

• Recognition of cardiac arrest and the appropriate initial response

• Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), in both theory and practice

• Choking response using the Heimlich manoeuvre

• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Training and Equipment That Can Make a Critical Difference

First Aid knowledge has its greatest value when it is supported by proper preparation and the right equipment.

For this reason, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is available on the SYMMETRIA® premises for immediate use in the event of an emergency. Members of our team have also been trained in its correct operation, as well as in the essential steps required to recognise and provide an initial response to cardiac arrest.

For us, having a defibrillator on site is not simply a standard provision. It is an integral part of a comprehensive approach to safety, built on prevention, training and emergency preparedness.

Our aim is for every person who visits SYMMETRIA®—whether for a treatment, a consultation or a meeting—to feel confident that they are in an environment where care has been considered in every detail and their safety is treated with the seriousness it deserves.

Particular emphasis was placed on hands-on practice, enabling each participant to develop the confidence and practical skills required to respond promptly and appropriately in an emergency until professional emergency services arrive.
