How to get rid of belly fat

“How can I burn the fat on my belly?” Surely, this is a question that many men ask themselves, as the fat that collects in this area is unfortunately very stubborn and difficult to lose.

The belly is the first part of the body that men gain weight in. This is due to consumption of foods that are high in sugar, as well as alcohol – amongst other things – and also due to lower levels of testosterone, which decrease as the years go by.

An increase in waist size is not just an aesthetic problem – it is also a health issue, as it is linked to higher risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

To get rid of excess belly fat, you should follow a programme that incorporates a balanced, healthy diet that is calorie-controlled, alongside at least 30 minutes of exercise per day.

According to relevant studies, aerobic exercise is necessary, as it achieves a greater decrease in visceral fat and significant reduction of total abdominal fat, when combined with resistance training.

Running, jogging or fast walking, 4-5 times a week, will help you immensely. During the summer months, you can also opt for swimming.

Remember that abs are one of the hardest muscle groups to train, as this is an area that tends to accumulate fat. On that note, SYMMETRIA’s recommendation for the belly area is neuromuscular stimulation, an innovative technology that achieves maximum toning of the muscle groups in this area, and contributes to tightening the skin, as it combines the action of three different types of energy.
