Acupuncture For Weight Loss Part 2

The ups and downs of acupuncture.

A well-balanced diet and regular exercise are our allies when it comes to weight loss, however, some method - such as acupuncture - can assist the process.

A shapely body is every woman’s goal. Of course, weight loss is not easy, but ultimately, it all boils down to a simple decision. Experts and scientific studies conclude that the combination of a well-balanced diet and regular exercise are what will help us lose pounds and maintain a healthy body weight.

However, there are some methods - along with reducing calorie intake and increasing physical activity – that can contribute to our weight loss efforts. One of these methods includes acupuncture. This is a practice that acts supplementary to a dietary program as created by your doctor, nutritionist or dietitian, in cohesion with exercise and personal health care.

Contraindications

Acupuncture is a safe treatment and its side effects (traumatic or infectious) are very rare. Contraindications may arise in individuals with bad health levels, those with pacemakers, during pregnancy, or in areas where internal materials exist - such as medical screws or aesthetic interventions in the form of injectables, implants, facelifts, etc.
