Tips for winter skincare

Our skin goes through a lot during the winter, owing to the low temperatures of the season, making it look dehydrated, dry and irritated. 

Daily care should include:  
Fortified moisturising, using products rich in antioxidants and nourishing ingredients that will diminish redness and protect the skin from weather conditions by acting as a protective shield. SYMMETRIA recommends a moisturiser that contains ingredients such as vitamins C & E, magnesium, shea butter & Βorage oil, which offer potent antioxidant and hydrating protection.

Lip care, as lips become quite dry and chapped during the winter, as lips do not contain sebum-producing glands. Daily care is necessary, using products that have moisturising and soothing action. SYMMETRIA recommends a moisturising lip balm with ingredients such as aloe vera, vitamin E, avocado oil and jojoba oil, ideal for instant relief, protection and hydration.

Sun protection. Our skin is exposed to UV rays throughout the year. So, sunscreen should be part of our daily routine, even durign the winter. SYMMETRIA recommends  a sunscreen of SPF30 to offer hydration and sun protection.
